Assalamu Alaikum SVA Families,

We have had a wonderfully blessed month of October, alhumdulillah. Our annual Iftar Dinner was enjoyed by 217 family members! That night was filled with warmth and was truly enjoyed by all who attended. A special thank you to all the dedicated volunteers who planned, organized, and hosted the evening. Students enjoyed Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations at SVA with class parties, cotton candy, and freshly popped popcorn. A special thank you to the parents who volunteered to make these treats for the students!

Community Readers visited classes to inspire students’ love of reading!

Kindergarten through 8th Grade students are participating in Art Orbit every Wednesday at SVA. Art Orbit classes provide students with an opportunity to rotate through a different art class once a week developing their artistic skills using various art media. The following pictures show some of the eight Art Orbit classes students will participate in over an eight week period.
