Our Pre-K program provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. At the heart of all our activities is the modeling of a love of Allah and for the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him. Creating a home-like environment, we use the rhythm and routine of daily life to help our children develop valuable life skills.

Our curriculum includes hands-on activities which develop sensory-motor, hand-eye coordination, fine-motor and large motor skills at an age-appropriate level. These skills, in addition to reading, writing, and math are brought out in learning activities such as singing, movement, storytelling, measuring and counting, letter recognition, and science experiments.

In Elementary and Middle school, we offer a program of academic excellence in a safe and nurturing learning environment. Using developmentally appropriate academic activities, we strive to work with a child's natural curiosity. This allows learning to be meaningful and joyful. This approach builds a love of learning that will encourage our students to become life long learners and conscientious contributing members of society.

We use the California State Standards for reading/language arts, mathematics, history/social studies, science, art and physical education as guidelines for the skills and concepts that are taught at each grade level. The G.L.A.D. teaching model brings this content "to life". Our curriculum includes integrated thematic learning, multiple learning styles, cooperative group work, hands-on projects, field trips, ongoing assessments, home-school connections, and daily Quran and Arabic instruction. Our cross curricular approach inspires Islam in the hearts and minds of students. Click here to find out more information about Project G.L.A.D.
